Picture Finishing

Peter Heady began his career as a union electrical worker working for his father’s company Heady Electric. Luckily for the postproduction community, Peter left the family business to begin working in television and film post as what was once known as an “online editor.”

John works to bring the best picture quality to the projects on which he is hired. In the years John has given to the Post Industry, he helped found Tape House. There he convinced his partners to invest in the east coast’s first Rank Cintel machine, which revolutionized imaging technology in the film and television communities.

Ben Lay started in working in technical support for video post production for Digistor in Australia, supporting clients working on Avid, Final Cut Pro and Lightworks including Sound Firm and Spectrum Films at Fox Studios in Sydney, as well as many other post facilities in and around Sydney.

Audio

Mike has been playing guitar since he was 18, and over the years decided to learn how to record music. He studied at the Full Sail Real World Education program, getting his Associate of Science degree in recording arts in 2003. At school, Mike took a class in post-production and has wanted to work in post ever since. Mike started as an intern at Goldcrest and has worked his way up to be head audio engineer.
