Goldcrest Post New York: Online

The core of Goldcrest's online operation is the Quantel IQ Genepool technology. Two Quantel IQs work from networked storage to allow instant access of shared media by the IQ systems. This allows for collaborative workflow where multiple artists can work on the same project simultaneously, instantly sharing work.

Projects are archived from the IQs to LTO-4 for future project revisions or added deliverables. The Quantels offer extraordinarily elegant Red, P-2, Data and Video based 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 workflows.

A third Quantel system has been brought on board for Broadcast programming.
