Goldcrest Post New York: Online

The core of Goldcrest's feature online operation is the Quantel Genepool technology. Three Quantel Pablos work from networked storage to allow instant access of shared media by the IQ systems. This allows for collaborative workflow where multiple artists can work on the same project simultaneously, instantly sharing work.

Projects are archived from the Quantels to LTO-4 for future project revisions or added deliverables. The Quantels offer extraordinarily elegant Film, Red, P-2, Arri, Data and Video based 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 workflows.

3D Broadcast work is onlined, color and depth graded in the Quantel Pablo suite utilizing stereoscopic software, an array of “Dimensionalization” toolsets, to 3D JVC or Panasonic displays.

2D Broadcast work is onlined and color graded in our Avid Symphony DX suites in either HD or SD. Unity connectivity between our offline and online suites are provided on a 166 Terabyte Unity. All 28 edit rooms are linked to our projection theatres for preview screenings.
