Goldcrest Post London: Dean Street Theatre

The Dean St Theatre was refurbished in 2009 creating a completely new mixing environment. The Andy Munro acoustically designed room now has space for six edit stations, but retains directors’ chairs as close as possible to the mixers. In addition to the super comfortable cinema seats there is a Foyer and bar area immediately outside the theatre, which can be utilised as overflow production space, or to take the all important call for the next project. To facilitate this we have installed mobile phone repeaters in all Goldcrest Post London premises. The first projects in the new room were the final mixes for Fantastic Mr Fox, Kick Ass and Anton Corbijn’s The American.

>The Dean St Theatre serves as both mixing theatre and screening room.  With a single 35mm projector, a High Definition V-cube hard disc player and access to various HD formats for playback the theatre is well appointed to serve the film maker.  Immediately outside the theatre is a foyer and bar area, which can be configured in various ways depending on the clients’ requirements.
