Teen Mom premieres on MTV!
Helmer Morgan J Freeman and veteran Writer/Director/Producer Dia Sokol’s new show, Teen Mom premiered on MTV Tuesday, December 8th, 2009. The duo brought the show to Goldcrest Post NY for editorial and audio and picture post.
Teen Mom is the follow-up documentary series to this summer’s hit, 16 & Pregnant. Each hour-long episode interweaves the stories of four of the original show’s characters, revealing the wide variety of challenges young mothers can face: marriage, relationships, family support, adoption, finances, graduating high school, starting college, getting a job, and the daunting and exciting step of moving out to create their own families.
Dia Sokol has worked on such projects as the recent Beeswax and is the writer/director of Sorry, Thanks. Morgan J Freeman helmed the recent Homecoming (finished at Goldcrest Post NY), and has several feature films in development. Both Freeman and Sokol have had long-running relationships with Goldcrest, and continue to return for its “consistent technical expertise and attention to detail,” says Sokol; while Freeman chalks his loyalty up to Goldcrest’s “friendly atmosphere and 4 o’clock tea and cake.” Both cite Goldcrest’s “convenient location” and “easy access to stores and restaurants” as big pluses.
