Trial By Jury

In a court of justice, the jury awaits the case of Edwin, sued by Angelina for breach of promise. The learned Judge enters and tells the story of his rise to wealth and success, which involved marrying, and then deserting, the daughter of a rich lawyer. He proves to be still susceptible to feminine charm, and this results in a most unusual verdict.
