East German defector turned CIA agent, Alex Holbeck is assigned to discover the names of five Soviet dissidents targeted by a ruthless KGB hit squad. Arriving in East Berlin, Alex's cover is quickly blown and he seeks shelter with his former lover, Karen. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, Alex outwits his KGB pursuers, only to see Karen fall into the hands of the enemy.
