The Girl
A desperate young mother tries unsuccessfully to turn her life around by becoming a Coyote—one who smuggles immigrants across the dangerous desert at the US border between Texas and Mexico. When this quick money scheme fails horribly, she unwillingly ends up traveling across Mexico with a newly orphaned eight-year-old girl from Oaxaca—embarking on a journey that will change her life forever.
